-David Playpenz lost his finger in a motorcycle accident. After it was severed by doctors, he was allowed to take it home. 

“I'd always wondered what human flesh tastes like. But it's taboo. People can't go around being cannibals – that's illegal. Only then, it occurred to me that no one could haul me to court for eating my own flesh. I decided to cook it and taste it. Then my curiosity would be satisfied.” he said.

-Ever since he was 12 years old Armin Miewes dreamed of killing and eating people. It took him 29 years and 430 e-mail contacts to finally find someone willing to let him do it.

Bernd Brandes, age 43, responded to his internet ad that called for "young, well-built men aged 18 to 30 to slaughter." 

Brandes wrote a will, sold his car, and took a "personal" day off work. Then Brandes went to Armin's apartment and LET Armin cut off his penis and cook it in a frying pan.

The two ate the penis together before Armin videotaped himself stabbing Brandes in the chest until he died (and served as a great source of protein for 7 months).

"The flesh tasted so much like pork I can't tell you,"

-At the age of 22, Mao Sugiyama voluntarily had his penis and testicles surgically removed. He then hosted a dinner party (complete with piano recital) where he seasoned and cooked his own genitals for his guests. 

Six people paid $250 each for the chance to eat Mao's genitals, which were served with mushrooms and parsley. Now THAT'S a fancy dinner!

-A 52 year-old Swedish professor flew into a jealous rage when his wife asked for a divorce. He suspected the breakup stemmed from a recent trip she had taken with a man he assumed was her new lover. So, NATURALLY, he took a scalpel and cut her lower lip off so she would never be able to kiss again. 

The only problem ("only") was the likelihood of doctors reattaching her severed lip. 

So he ate it. Voila!

-On November 9th, 2001 Katherine Knight was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing her ex-husband 37 times with a butcher's knife, after which she skinned him, hanged his skin from a meat hook, and decapitated his body. Then she proceeded to cook a stew with his head and meat from his buttox. She planned to serve this to her children along with vegetables and gravy. The police were able to stop the chef before the children came home.

-"The guy just stood, his head up like that, with pieces of flesh in his mouth. And he growled."

That is what one witness saw in 2012 when a naked man literally ate the face of another man. He was lying next to him on a freeway off-ramp and was unresponsive to police. He was killed by police. His victim fought for his life in the hospital and survived.

-Two brothers, 28-year-old Timur and 23-year-old Marat, reported their other brother, Rafis, missing. The police found their report to be oddly vague. They raided the brother's home and found Rafis' skeleton.

So, what happened to the flesh? You see where this is going. 

"Yes, we've decided to eat him. I did not want to return behind the bars, so we have cut off his head and buried it and the body have cut in parts and kept in a refrigerator," Timur reportedly said. "We have been cooking and eating his meat for six months".
